EMERGENCY HOUSING ADVOCACY PROGRAM

No one should be left out in the cold.

During the winter months from December 1 through March 31, Hope Lutheran Church participates in the Freehold Clergy Association Emergency Housing Advocacy Program

This program provides homeless men a hot meal and a warm place to sleep. Volunteers in our congregation host the men at HOPE, while others sign up to prepare meals or serve as drivers.

HOPE hosts on Friday evenings, with other area churches hosting different nights of the week.

Please contact Andrew or Zinke McGeady for more  program information  732-363-8520

MEALS AT ST. PETERS

HOPE, along with other surrounding churches and organizations,  provide a Friday evening "Community Meal" for hungry neighbors of St. Peter's Episcopal church in Freehold Boro.

Three times a year HOPE provides 100 -200 meals for these events.  Menus are planned, food prepared, and meals delivered to St. Peter's for the 5:30 PM serving.  About 20 volunteers are needed to help make the meal run smoothly.

These meal nights take a great deal of organization and assistance but are a great opportunity to work beside your church friends for a rewarding & worthy effort .
