about Hope

At Hope Lutheran Church, you will feel surrounded by friends looking to hold one another up through fellowship and faith. Our church is in Freehold, New Jersey, near Howell and Jackson, and we join together under a common roof anchored in Christ, growing in faith, love, and service. Lutheran church culture is firmly rooted in ministering to our members, community, and global level. Our prayer for every gathering is that you would feel welcomed and loved. We want you to leave our church inspired and renewed by God's infinite love for us. Nevertheless, we welcome anyone to come and join us for worship on Sundays!

We understand that everyone has different styles and approaches to worship. That is why we offer two various worship services. One traditional service with traditional liturgy accompanied by organ, and the other is a contemporary service with a worship band. If it's your first time visiting, check out both services and see what feels suitable for you and your family. We stream both services if worshiping from home is the best way for you to worship with us!

Sandwich Making for

St. Peters Community Lunch

Hope is continuing our support for the St. Peter’s Community Meal, and we’d love for you to be part of it! Join us on Tuesday, February 10 at 6 PM as we gather to make sandwiches and pack bag lunches for those in need.

This ministry has seen wonderful success thanks to your generosity, and the need in our community remains great. We’re looking for food donations as well as volunteers to help assemble sanwiches and spread hope.

Every sandwich makes a difference—click here to sign up and get involved!

Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner

Mark your calendars and come hungry! Our annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner is back, and it’s one of our favorite nights of the year to gather as a church family for great food, laughter, and fellowship.

Enjoy a meal of pancakes  while spending time with friends—old and new. Whether you come every year or this will be your first time, this is a wonderful, low-key way to connect and kick off the Lenten season together.

To help us plan for food and seating, please let us know you’re coming! Scan the QR code or click here to RSVP.

Sunday School Annual

Egg Hunt

Hop on over to Hope Lutheran Church for our Annual Egg Hunt on Sunday, March 29 at 10:00 AM! Kids and families are invited to enjoy a fun morning filled with egg hunting, prizes, snacks, and crafts. There will be no regularly scheduled Sunday School that day—everyone should meet in the narthex instead.

We’re also collecting items for our Blessing Bags, so if you’re able, please bring deodorant or body wipes, combs or brushes, toothpaste and toothbrushes, protein or breakfast bars, and disposable razors or shave gel/cream to help bless others in our community. We can’t wait to celebrate together!
