about Hope
At Hope Lutheran Church, you will feel surrounded by friends looking to hold one another up through fellowship and faith. Our church is in Freehold, New Jersey, near Howell and Jackson, and we join together under a common roof anchored in Christ, growing in faith, love, and service. Lutheran church culture is firmly rooted in ministering to our members, community, and global level. Our prayer for every gathering is that you would feel welcomed and loved. We want you to leave our church inspired and renewed by God's infinite love for us. Nevertheless, we welcome anyone to come and join us for worship on Sundays!
We understand that everyone has different styles and approaches to worship. That is why we offer two various worship services. One traditional service with traditional liturgy accompanied by organ, and the other is a contemporary service with a worship band. If it's your first time visiting, check out both services and see what feels suitable for you and your family. We stream both services if worshiping from home is the best way for you to worship with us!

The Emergency Housing Program
The Emergency Housing Program ("EHAP"), a project of the Freehold Clergy Association will begin at Hope on Friday, December 2.
Over the last two decades, we have opened our doors to local homeless gentlemen on Friday nights at Hope Lutheran. We have had many who could step up and support caring for others who needed basic housing and meals during the winter. We need volunteers to help by bringing a meal, hosting the men overnight, or volunteering to be a driver for transportation between St. Peter’s and Hope.
Sign up sheets are in the narthex!
You can always call or email us at hopelutheran17@gmail.com to see what days we still need help.
PM Drivers (pickup from Saint Peters around 6:30-6:45pm)
AM Drivers (pickup from hope around 6:45-7:00am)
