Hope Lutheran Church of Freehold

At Hope Lutheran Church, you will feel surrounded by friends looking to hold one another up through fellowship and faith. Our church is in Freehold, New Jersey, near Howell and Jackson, and we join together under a common roof anchored in Christ, growing in faith, love, and service. Lutheran church culture is firmly rooted in ministering to our members, community, and global level. Our prayer for every gathering is that you would feel welcomed and loved. We want you to leave our church inspired and renewed by God's infinite love for us. Nevertheless, we welcome anyone to come and join us for worship on Sundays!

We understand that everyone has different styles and approaches to worship. That is why we offer two various worship services. One traditional service with traditional liturgy accompanied by organ, and the other is a contemporary service with a worship band. If it's your first time visiting, check out both services and see what feels suitable for you and your family. We stream both services if worshiping from home is the best way for you to worship with us!

HCS and HLC Backyard BBQ Night

Join us for our annual Backyard BBQ Night hosted by Hope Christian School and Hope Lutheran Church on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at 6:00 PM in the parking lot area! After getting rained out back in May, we’re excited to finally gather together for an evening of food, fellowship, and fun as one community.

We’ll be serving hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, watermelon, desserts, and an ice cream truck will be on site.

There will also be a kids craft table and face painting, along with entertainment by Mr. Josh and the Hope Band!

Feel free to bring a dessert if you'd like, though it’s not required. Please RSVP to Josh at josh@hopefreehold.org.
