EMERGENCY HOUSING ADVOCACY PROGRAM

EHAP has suspended its winter overnight program since its mission has shifted slightly. In the interim, the organization has committed to feeding the community in need once a week on Tuesdays from January to March 2024.

They will be providing meals via participating congregations on Tuesday nights. As of now, Hope has committed to serving a meal on:

 Tuesday, February 6.

We are encouraging the youth from our congregation and confirmation classes to the lead on these meals!

MEALS AT ST. PETERS

HOPE, along with other surrounding churches and organizations,  provide a Friday evening "Community Meal" for hungry neighbors of St. Peter's Episcopal church in Freehold Boro.

Throughout the year, HOPE provides many meals.  Menus are planned, food prepared, and meals delivered to St. Peter's for the 5:30 PM serving.  About 20 volunteers are needed to help make the meal run smoothly. Our next scheduled meal is:

Friday, January 26

These meal nights take a great deal of organization and assistance but are a great opportunity to work beside your church friends for a rewarding & worthy effort .
