about Hope

At Hope Lutheran Church, you will feel surrounded by friends looking to hold one another up through fellowship and faith. Our church is in Freehold, New Jersey, near Howell and Jackson, and we join together under a common roof anchored in Christ, growing in faith, love, and service. Lutheran church culture is firmly rooted in ministering to our members, community, and global level. Our prayer for every gathering is that you would feel welcomed and loved. We want you to leave our church inspired and renewed by God's infinite love for us. Nevertheless, we welcome anyone to come and join us for worship on Sundays!

We understand that everyone has different styles and approaches to worship. That is why we offer two various worship services. One traditional service with traditional liturgy accompanied by organ, and the other is a contemporary service with a worship band. If it's your first time visiting, check out both services and see what feels suitable for you and your family. We stream both services if worshiping from home is the best way for you to worship with us!

Outreach Meal at St. Peters

Join us in serving our community! You can support our Outreach Meal by donating food or volunteering. Food donations can be dropped off at Hope Lutheran Church anytime on Friday, November 14—please ensure all items are already heated and ready to serve for the meal starting at 5:00 PM.

If you’re volunteering, you may also bring your donation directly to Saint Peter’s Church.

Click here to sign up to volunteer or donate. Thank you for helping us continue this meaningful ministry and for making a difference in the lives of those we serve!

Bake for Open Door

Our youth are getting ready to bake treats to support Open Door! All ingredients will be provided—just show up and join the fun. The baked goods will be sold before and after the congregation meeting on Sunday, November 16, with proceeds helping families in need.

Please let Josh know if you plan to attend!

Congregation Meeting/Schedule Change

Please note the schedule changes for Sunday, November 16. Sunday School will still meet at 10:00 AM, and our youth will be baking and selling treats to raise money for Open Door! The blended worship service begins at 11:00 AM, combining a little traditional and a little contemporary music, followed by the congregation meeting at 12:00 PM. There are many important items to discuss that will greatly impact the future of Hope, so we encourage everyone to participate.

Zoom will still be available for those who wish to join remotely. Please email Cheryl if you did not receive and need the link!

Sandwich Making for

St. Peters Community Lunch

Hope is continuing our support for the St. Peter’s Community Meal, and we’d love for you to be part of it! Join us on Tuesday, November 18 at 6:00 PM as we gather to make sandwiches and pack bag lunches for those in need.

This ministry has seen wonderful success thanks to your generosity, and the need in our community remains great. We’re looking for food donations as well as volunteers to help assemble sanwiches and spread hope.

Every sandwich makes a difference—click here to sign up and get involved!
